Another Monday, so time for another NaNoWriMo update!
I’m officially in the middle of my first NaNoWriMo project. Well, a little bit past the middle, I guess, really. It’s tough, I admit.
See that? I admitted it. It’s tougher than I thought it would be. I’m officially in the middle and losing steam. Fast. I don’t like it, but I am. I have just less than 30,000 words done, and I should be able to get that much done today. I’ll be a day ahead, at least.
One day ahead. Unlike the two or three days ahead that I used to be. Well, I guess that’s alright, since I did have things come up (my niece visited, I got sick, other distractions, blah, blah, blah), but still, it would be nice to be as far ahead as I used to be.
The Healing is coming along very nicely, though I’m not sure how I feel about that title anymore, since it’s spiraling out of control. I’m not so sure that it’s about healing anymore. It’s more about coming together as friends. Well, we’ll see. Maybe I’ll go with my original title.
There’s not a lot to talk about with NaNoWriMo. I guess you could say while I’m not at a complete standstill, I’m close. I’m pushing forward, though. I have just over 20,000 words left before I “win.” I may not officially be signed up for it, but I’m doing it. I’m a sucker for punishment, I tell you.
NaNoWriMo is hard, but so far I’m finding that it’s worth it. Depending on how the rest of the month goes, I may not get it done, but I’ll be close. Until then, stay tuned!
