Yet another Wednesday, so another time to update how my journey to being published is coming along. I couldn’t be more excited with my progress.
I’m currently in the process of getting the contact information needed for my beta readers (well, email, really, so I can get it to them, but you get the picture) for Days of the Kill. I’m so excited, yet extremely terrified at the thought of sending my first ever book to the first ever people that will see it. I have such mixed emotions. I don’t know how I’m going to keep my mind off of it for a month.
Luckily, I have things to do that will help with that. Some of those things even have to do with writing.
I finally started editing The Path to Biological (see, told you I would…). Well, really, it’s more like proofreading to check for typos. There were a lot! But hey, it’s a start, isn’t it?
I don’t even know where to begin editing. The plot changed so many times during NaNoWriMo. Really, it’s a daunting task.
I also started on the first draft of a third book. This one will be called The Child of Fault. It’s about a child…that has faults… Well, I’ll talk more about it when it’s closer to coming out. It’s fun to write. Hopefully, it will be fun to read as well!
I’m not that far into the first draft yet. I’m currently just short of 5,000 words in. Good thing it’s not NaNoWriMo. As little effort as I’ve put into it so far (I’ll do more when Days of the Kill is out of my hair for a while), I would never get that done on time. Definitely waiting until November to do that again.
Well, I guess that’s about as updated as I can get you right now. Thanks for reading. And guys…thank you so much for the support! I would never be so dedicated to this if it wasn’t for my dedicated readers.
