If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that a while back, I decided to start a podcast. Now, I never did get that off the ground. Person after person after person dropped out because they decided they didn’t want to get involved. Either they decided they didn’t want to do something they weren’t paid to do, or they decided they were too busy, or they decided they didn’t even know what a podcast was (those people I really didn’t understand).
A former prospect of a co-host approached me on Google+ today, and said that he was still interested. So, we’re going to try this again. I’m not getting my hopes up too high — at least not yet. I’ll see how this actually goes, and if it actually gets off the ground this time, I will be ecstatic. We’ll just have to see how this actually goes.
I will definitely be looking towards getting it off the ground, and if it does, we will be aiming to start in October. I don’t know when exactly, but I will definitely keep everyone posted.
Well, I guess I rambled on long enough about podcasting for now. On Wednesday, I will definitely be back to talking about my progress. Until then…stay tuned!
I have never been more ready to quit in my life. I’m so done with getting fed up and frustrated.
I can’t believe my co-host quit on me before we even got started. She suddenly realized she was too busy? I don’t think so. Sometimes, I honestly wonder about people.
I guess you could say I’m on the hunt again, though I’m so fed up with hunting around. I’m going to try again just one more time. After that, I’m done. So done. I’ll do it myself if I have to.
All I want is to be able to writers about their journey. Is that too much to ask? I don’t know or care if my podcast will be successful. I just want to have one. Oh, and put the money I spent to good use. That helps, too.
If any writer out there is interested, please let me know. I know some of you are writers, and if you’re able to help out, please email me at email@example.com, or comment below!
These past few months, I’ve been working toward getting a podcast set up, and I wasn’t getting far at all.
My first problem was not being able to find a co-host when I desperately needed one.
I went to a friend saying that I would try to go at it alone. He has a podcast, so I asked him to help me set it up. I’m sure it was frustrating to help out when I had no idea what I was doing even after he explained it a few different times.
Earlier this week, though, I managed to find a co-host, and I am so thankful. We haven’t worked out all the details yet, but I’m ready to get it started. We haven’t actually talked yet, but I plan on setting up a time soon.
I’m glad to have found a co-host, but the thought of talking to people that I don’t know every week is terrifying. I’m ready for it, though. I got prepared for it when I was on another podcast as a guest.
Being a guest is actually got me started on wanting to run a podcast myself.
I’m so excited to launch The Writers’ Journey. I don’t know when exactly it will start, but I’m ready for it. Keep looking for it, everyone. Writers everywhere are on a journey, and we’re going to dive deeper into the journey world.
